Why Soap?

You all might be wondering why on earth I picked soap.ie as my site? Well its because a few years ago I enjoyed making handmade soaps from home and with John being in the web design business it was easy for me to go online with my hobby. I was surprised to find soap.ie was available. I would have thought a big time company would have snapped that one up!
I no longer make soap as I found it to be very messy and time consuming, not the easiest of hobbies! I have however grown to love Soap.ie, I find it to be very girly and fun. So rather than leave a blank page on my lovely address I have decided to try my hand at writing a blog.
My life has changed dramatically since christmas 2008, I have taken a career break from a good job to try my hand at web design. When I say web design I mean running the office of a web design company, not actual web design! John, my fiancee, runs the company and with my help it is running pretty well. So with me on a break from my career and now working with John we decided to get engaged and get married within a year. So in April 2010 I will no longer be known as Miss Joyce, it will be Mrs. Joyce!!!
