An Irish Girl's Opinion on Everything
The weather is glorious and my spirits were lifted as a result I got up bright and early (well when I say bright and early I mean 9am) and went to a housing estate near by and delivered two hundred and fifty promotional flyers. It only look just under two hours and I hope that it might generate some business. August had proven to be a very slow month with most people off on their holidays etc. So I am looking forward to back to school and hopefully lots of photography work.
I have been considering lately selling my wedding dress. I do love it and it was a gift from my brother but in reality I’m never going to wear it again and it is taking up an awful lot of space in my newly organised office / guest bedroom.

One of my latest photo shoots was for a lady and her new husband and son.
The main photos that were taken were of her little son. I also did a family portrait which happened to include their boxer!
Thankfully he was a very well behaved dog!
There truly is a first time for everything!
A few months ago I put together a group of friends, a make-up artist and a load of photography equipment and produced some photos for my website JoyceByrne.ie
My portable studio is simple but creates amazing photos!
We can create the perfect photo for any occasion. Having a make-up artist on board makes the photo shoot very interesting!
One might say that everyone at some time or another need to take time to find themselves. I have taken two years and I have finally settled into marriage and found “who I really am”. Yes it all sounds very cliché….

After all the work looking for the perfect wedding dress my poor dress is now hanging alone in my spare room.
Some might say why not get rid of it…. I can’t do that…. not yet anyway.

Over the past few weeks I have been working on my portfolio website which will be up and running over the next week or two. I’m super excited about it and I have to say I love taking photographs. I plan to have all my studio equipment by January. All going well I will have my photography up and running in no time. In the mean time I am agreeing to photograph anyone and anything, practice makes perfect!
